Chapter 6164For some weeks, data were not provided by care organisations. These data were marked as missing in the dataset. Before analysis, missing data were imputed using linear interpolation. In total, 7.4% of the data on involuntary care registrations were missing, 8% of data on incident reports, and 3.3% of data on the number of clients were missing.Effect of MDET on involuntary care recordings Using linear mixed effects models (reported in Table 3), we examined the extent to which the implementation of MDET was associated with the number of weekly recorded involuntary care registrations. Data of three care homes were not included in the analysis because there was no implementation condition (n = 1), no CAU condition (n = 1), or too little variance in the outcome variable (n = 1).Table 4 Results of Linear Mixed Effects Models: Effect of the Implementation of MDET on Weekly Recorded Involuntary CareFixed effects B SE %u0394DSModel 1Intercept 16.04*** 2.29Model 2 8402***Intercept 14.42*** 1.91Model 3 -1Intercept 11.73*** 2.43Time 0.03 0.02Model 4 0Intercept 11.73*** 2.43Time 0.04 0.02Start MDET implementation -0.002 0.44Model 5 -4**Intercept 11.70*** 2.43Time 0.04 0.02Start of MDET 0.16 0.99Time*Start MDET implementation -0.002 -0.01Model 6 -2Intercept 12.86*** 3.46Time 0.03 0.03Start MDET implementation 0.33 1.38
