For breast cancer, a total of 53 potentially eligible breast cancer patients were selected for characterization of FRα status on preoperatively obtained biopsies. Samples of six patients stained positive for FRα (11%). Of the 6 patients, 2 patients eventually did not meet the inclusion criteria and 1 patient declined participation. Three patients were included in the study and their characteristics are provided in Table 2.
