   Figure 1. Conventional anteroposterior and lateral radiographs, taken 18 years after a transarticular distal femoral resection for an osteosarcoma in a 14-year-old male patient. The allograft was  xed to host bone using two plates. There is sound incorporation of the allograft. Signs of severe secondary osteoarthritis can easily be identi ed in the tibiofemoral and patellofemoral joints. The patient was free of pain.
