P. 20
Chapter 5 reports a Q-methodology study to nd what behavior results from stu- dents’ SRL in a clinical context, by answering the ques on: what pa erns in students’ self-regulated learning behaviors in a clinical context can be iden ed, and what are their most important characteris cs?
Lastly I provide a general discussion in chapter 6 on the ndings of the studies report- ed in this thesis. I will make sugges ons for future research, I will discuss theore cal implica ons of the ndings presented in this thesis, and I will discuss the prac cal implica ons of this thesis, because I feel research has most value if it results in im- plica ons for prac ce. Figure 2 gives a visual representa on of the speci c subjects studied in the various chapters, using Butler and Car er’s model of self-regulated learning in context.
