Chapter 12328ConclusionBased on the current, albeit limited, scientific literature included in this systematic review, it can be concluded that physiotherapy after open TMJ surgery plays a significant role in achieving good long-term postoperative results. A physiotherapeutic scheme, divided into 3 phases, is proposed.
