Since k1a is higher than k1b, one can expect that with the same precursor concentration Ag nanoparticles are produced faster from Ag(NH3)2+ than from Ag+. A recent work on a more detailed kinetic model, related to the time dynamics of the plasma assisted reduction process is now in preparation.
