When examining the predicted value plot (see Fig. 5A), this effect, however, seems to be mainly driven by stronger variation in accuracies (i.e., also inaccurate responses) in individuals with lower social anxiety traits when the zygomaticus was not strongly activated. Otherwise, recognition of happy expressions was at ceiling and not much variation in relation to social anxiety trait levels could be observed.
