 Overall, there were significant differences between the groups in terms of loss of control (LOC) over eating based on the EDE-Q (p = .001), previous psychological treatment (p = .014) and pre-operative super-obesity (p = .032). In the suboptimal group, 44% had pre-operative super-obesity, while 24% of the successful group had pre-operative super-obesity (Table 3).
