My Ph.D. journey would have been much less exciting, less challenging and less meaningful without all the people I have met. They have supported me, critiqued me, recognized me and opened doors for me. These last pages of the dissertation are dedicated to all of you who have been part of my rite de passage. There are a select few who I will acknowledge by name but there are so many more people who have, in one way or another contributed to me reaching the finish line. To all of you, I am incredibly grateful!
