DISCUSSION
Self-monitoring kidney function and blood pressure at home offers important advantages for patients after kidney transplantation. However, the value and safety of self-monitoring depends on how well patients actually adhere to their self-monitoring tasks, the reliability of the test results they report and whether they take appropriate actions based on their measurements. This study showed that level of adherence was generally good.
