Before we move on to Plantinga’s application of this way of thinking to theism and n’s definition of faith which states that faith is: “a firm and certain knowledge of God’s both revealed to our minds and sealed upon our hearts through the Holy Spirit.”
As we will see later on, Plantinga also uses Calvin’s definition of faith cognitive aspect (as indicated by the phrase ‘revealed to our minds’). It also includes our affections (as indicated by the phrase ‘sealed upon our hearts’). All of this means that
