In terms of baseline echocardiographic data, patients who showed adverse LV remodeling had significantly smaller LV volumes and lower LVEF at baseline when compared to patients without adverse LV remodeling (Table 3). However, no differences for WMSI and frequency of significant MR were observed between the two groups.
