Hypertension was defined as office blood pressure ≥140/90 mm Hg or previous pharmacological treatment. Hypercholesterolemia was defined as total cholesterol 190 mg/dl or previous pharmacological treatment. Diabetes mellitus was defined as fasting blood glucose ≥7.0 mmol/L, 2-h oral glucose tolerance test glucose ≥11.1 mmol/L or previous pharmacological treatment. p-values are provided for the comparisons between the different types of LV functional outcomes.
At 6 months follow-up, 115 (31%) patients did not show LV systolic function recovery and the LVEF remained ≤40%, 111 (30%) patients showed partial recovery (LVEF 41- 49%) and 145 (39%) patients showed full recovery (LVEF ≥50%). Furthermore, there
